Kids Birthday Party

Participants will get the chance to create and design different types of desserts. They’ll receive a hands-on experience working with different baking techniques, ingredients, and  tools. Chef Tiffany Li and our team will teach and accompany your party throughout the entire process. Parents can stay and watch, hang out in the cafe area, or come back at the end of the party. Our goal is to provide the best experience for kids and the parents.

Baking Party 101 (2 Hours)

In this package, kids will learn how to create multiple desserts and practice their cookie decorating skills. Our team can accommodate most party themes (various character designs, seasonal themes, TV show/movie themes, and more). Each participant will take home a minimum of 3 decorated cupcakes, 3 decorated sugar cookies, and 1 birthday cake jar in our Oishiii Sweets Glass Dessert Jar (save money on loot bags!).

Party Agenda

  1. Review Food Safety & Kitchen Rules – go over the importance of food handling and keeping clean hands throughout the process.
  2. Sugar Cookie Decorating – Personal lesson from Chef Tiffany Li and our team showing you how we design and create our cookies. Participants will get to practice their skills and artwork before they execute their own creative designs.
  3. Cupcakes from Scratch – We will teach and lead your group through the steps in our recipe so you can learn how tocreate fresh cupcakes that you get to take home to enjoy.
  4. Birthday Cake Jar – You’ll get to assemble an Oishiii Sweets Birthday Cake Jar using multiple layers of cake and buttercream, topped with various sprinkle decorations! 

Cost: $30+HST per participant (6 to 12 participants)

Kids Cake Party (2 Hours)

Participants will assemble a two-layer sponge cake,  use coloured buttercream of their choice, and decorate the cake in various piping designs. Finally, you will get to top it off with different coloured sprinkles of your choice!

Party Agenda

  1. Review Food Safety & Kitchen Rules – go over the importance of food handling and keeping clean hands throughout the process.
  2. Personal lesson from Chef Tiffany Li and our team show you how to assemble a two-layered sponge cake which includes: mixing your own buttercream colours, layering, and masking the cake.
  3.  Tutorials on various buttercream techniques and designs to design your own cakes.
  4. Finish the cakes with candies and sprinkles to make the best creations that they can imagine.

Group can enjoy any outside food and drinks at the end of the session. All participants will leave with their own finished cakes to take home and enjoy (save on loot bags and cake).
